Meet Karen

Karen is a compassionate and caring provider. She works alongside her patients and is an empathetic listener. She wants to work together with you to get you back to a better state of health! She believes in the importance of western conventional medicine but also believes wholeheartedly in natural, more holistic medicine as well. She believes in personal health freedoms! Her job is to give you medical advice on medical decisions, but any decision about medical treatments or interventions is ultimately up to you!

Karen has worked in healthcare for 12 years! She started as a nurse in the hospital and has worked medical floors, emergency room and labor and delivery. Becoming a family nurse practitioner was always her goal, because she wanted the autonomy to see and treat patients how she felt they should be treated. She values time with her patients and values long lasting, trusting patient-provider relationships.

Karen is extremely family oriented, she has three young and energetic boys. She loves the outdoors and loves to camp, fish and hunt with her family. She loves to garden and spends as much of her time outside as possible.

Meet Kim

Starting her career as a NICU nurse tending to the wee ones and their families, Kim learned what wholistic nursing means. Taking care of the “whole” patient, family, friends and loved ones. Working side by side with first time parents & teaching them how to change their first diaper are some of the sweetest memories. Working at a teaching hospital, OHSU in Portland, Oregon, Kim grew an appreciation for teaching others and passing on her knowledge in a way that patients, families, and students could understand. Kim strives to be a safe place for patients, families, students and coworkers to turn to with questions, concerns or advise. As Kim’s career progresses, she is appreciating the merge of Western and Eastern medicines. She believes that one of the best parts of nursing is the constant ability to learn new ways to help patients from neonates to the end of life and everything in between. Kim’s passion, more than anything, is helping people to learn how to take care of themselves to the best and most natural way possible.
